What we collect

Almost nothing. Weather or Not has no accounts, no sign-ups, and no database of users.

• Your location or ZIP code is sent directly from your browser to the National Weather Service (weather.gov) and, for ZIP lookups, to the Zippopotam.us geocoding service, solely to fetch your forecast. We do not store it.
• Basic analytics (page views, general region, device type) may be collected via Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.

Advertising

Weather or Not is supported by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Third-party vendors' use of advertising cookies enables them to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
